Triphasic Pattern

Triphasic Pattern
A second rise in temperatures may occur around 7-10 days past ovulation which is indicative of a triphasic pattern. A triphasic pattern is sometimes related to pregnancy when temperatures rise a second time after implantation, although it can also occur in non pregnancy charts.

Example of a triphasic chart:

NOTE: The triphasic pattern starts on 8dpo where the temperatures shift to a second higher level and are sustained after ovulation.
